What will happen in the first session?
The first session will be a chance to explore how best we can work together. I will discuss my confidentiality and some practicalities. I believe it’s important for you to set your own pace in the sessions and to feel supported and understood.
How long does a session last?
Sessions last for 50 minutes. Usually we will agree to meet at the same day/time once a week.
How many sessions will I need?
We can work to a fixed number of sessions or in an open-ended way – whatever suits you best.
This will depend on the assessment and what you want to achieve. Regular reviews maintain focus and progress.
Is the content of our sessions confidential?
Yes it is. However there are exceptions: if it seems likely that any person is likely to suffer serious harm.
